1 Afr Raymond 'J'. Ball, advance repreiseutativc for “Long Tack Sam.” arrived in Wanganui vost-erday to make arrangements for the forthcoming season. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph l-'ultu-n and their daughter and son, from Tuakau, Auckland, are spending the week-end in Wanganui and are the guests of Air. N. Fulton and sister, Mrs. Duffin, St. John’s Hill. Ali. Alexander A\. AlcNichol has been appointed general manager of the Union Bank of Australia, Limited, in succession to Air. W. A. Leitch, who is retiring, states a Sydney Press Association message. Mr. AlcNichol at one time was senior sub-inspector of the Bank of Neu Zealand.
