Jumbo Junior says “Good Morning”

HOME”

“WINTER IS CREEPING IN.” SAYS "BROWNEYED WANDERER.” Dear Wendy—Here I am once again knocking at your back dcor to get in away from the hail. The paths were thick with hail this morning, which looked just like snow, and it was freezing outside. My brother collected the hail into one heap, which was about one and a-half feet in height. We are having our school exams now, and I do hope to pass. Our May holidays began yesterday, but I would much rather stay at school instead, for I quite like it. My sister is coming home from college and I am looking forward to seeing her. as 1 have not seen her since Easter holidays. Winter is creeping in very quickly now, and the wind has been blowing the leaves off the trees, leaving them bare. The holly tree is covered in red berries, which look lovely. Well, I will close now, because the radio is going and I cannot think of any news. Very much love to you and the Ites.—From “BOWNEYED WANDERER,” Wangaehu. My goodness ,but the weather has been dreadful, indeed. However, as the winter has come we must now expect some very rough days. I hope you will enjoy your holidays.
