ROAD MOTOR SERVICE

RAILWAYS POLICY ( Per Press Association. ) AVELLINGTON. Afay 7. The Bailways Minister (Hon. D. G. Sullwan), announced that bis department had completed arrangements for taking over three more passenger road motor services in the South Island. They are Ramsay’s Motors, Christ-church-Little River-Akaroa; A. E. Earle’s service, Dunedin-Roxburgh; Hopes* Motors, Dunedin-Palmerston. The object in each case is to bring a/bout the co-ordination of the road and rail in the interests of both the public and public finance. The services will be taken over before the end of the month.
