MISSING CHILD FOUND
' TRAVELLED TO AUCKLAND | HER HOME IN NEW PLYMOUTH ' I ! ( Per Press Association, > NEW PLYMOUTH. May 7. Megan John, the 12-year-old daughter of Mrs. E. B. John, of New Plymouth, who has been missing since Mondav. has been found at Auckland, where she is now with her uncle, Mr. F. W. Sargent. How rhe child found her fare for the journey is not known. Another uncle, Air. A. E. Sargent, Wellington, will fly to Auckland and bring the child home by aeroplane to-morrow. A message from Auckland says that - she was inspired to go- adventuring by j t’.ie exploits of'David Copperfield. She | tramped a long way and was given lifts ’ by kindly motorists.
