PROTECTION PROMISED. [ Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, May 7. An assurance that whatever remedies were necessary to protect the interests of the secondary industries of New Zealand would be applied, was given by the Right Hon. M. J. Savage to-day to a deputation representing the New Zealand Manufacturers' Association.
