CLEARIN& SALE AT TAIHAPE. The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op Distributing Co., Ltd., report a very successful sale on account of Mr. M. Corrigan. Despite the stormy weather conditions there was a larg’e attendance. The stock all came forward in excellent condition and a splendid sale resulted. We quote; 2-th. ewes 38s Gd; 4-year ewe, 325; 5-year ditto, 275; m.s. lamb.:, 16s 6d; draught horses, £42 to £49, hack, £l7 10s; wool press, £18; Buick motor-car, £180; dairy cows, £4. Implements, tools and sundries and furniture all brought satisfactory price s . TAIHAPE SALE. The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op Distributing Co., Ltd., report a yarding of 1800 sheep and 20 cattle at their fortnightly sale held on Wednesday to a good attendance of buyers. Some good pens of fat lambs came forward winch elicited keen competition. Store lambs were firm and every pen was disposed of They quote: Fat lambs, 21s to 21s 7d; forward w-f.w. lambs, 16s to ISs; medium ditto, 14s Id to 15s Id'; good medium ewe lambs, 20s to 235; empty 2-th. ewes, 25s 8d; 5-year ewes, 24s 4d; 2-th. wethers, 21s 6d; fat ewes, 18=; forward b.f. lambs 17s.
