After a rough trip from Wellington, the B.s. Storm (749 tons, Captain W. Williams) arrived at 3.40 p.m. She cleared Wellington at 9.30 the previous night, but was delayed by a strong northerly gale in Cook Strait. The only other arrival yesterday was the coastal motor-ship Hawera (174 tons, Captain McLachlan) which put into Castflecliff at 10.55 a.m. for shelter. GALE DUNEDIN TO-MORROW From Wanganui, via Wellington, the Canterbury Company’s 600-ton coastal motor-ship Gale (Captain J. Davies) is due at Dunedin to-morrow. She will commence her Wanganui loading immediately and is to call at Timaru on Saturday, Lyttelton Monday and at Wellington and Picton on Tuesday. She is due here again on Wednesday, May 13. (To Berth at Castlecliff) OMANA DELAYED The Union Company’s Omana (2550 tons) has been delayed by rain at New Plymouth, and is not now expected at Wanganui before to-morrow. She has general cargo from South Australia for local discharge and is en route to Wanganui via Auckland and New Plymcflith. Kempthorne, Prosser and Company, Limited, has received advice that the Cheifuku Maru is due at Auckland from Japan on May 18 with bulk sulphur for discharge at Auckland, Lyttelton and Castlecliff. HOMEBOATS DIE. (To Load in Roadstead) j TONGARIRO DUE TO-DAY The Federal freighter Tongariro (8576 tone, Captain Wilac) is expected at Wanganui today from Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Nelson and P.cton. She will load in the roadstead until to-morrow, when she will sail for Wellington, her final port on the New Zealand coast. From Wellington the Tongariro sails about May 14 for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain. (Burgess and Co.). MIDDLESEX NEXT MONDAY From Bluff, Oamaru, Lyttelton and New Plymouth, the Federal freighter Middlesex is expected at Wanganui on Monday and is to sail on Tuesday for Wellington, from which port she is to sail on May 16 for Southampton and London, via Panama Canal. (Johnston and Co.). THE PORT ADELAIDE. The Port Adelaide is due at Bluff on May 21 from Australia to commence loading and completes at Port Chalmers, Timaru, Waikokopu. The Tekoa, now en route from Antwerp to Auckland and New Plymouth will commence loading after discharge at the Taranaki port on May 19. and completes at Opua, Auckland, Napier, Wellington and Wanganui.
