I At the Stadium last night Ambro.se ' Palmer was defeated on a technical I knock-out by Imo Kellv in the 12th. round ot a bout which atliacted a huge crowd. Palmer was leading on points up till the eighth round, when Ke !v opened a cut over his light eye ami another under his left eye started to bleed. With th • blood st retiming down his fate mid partiallv blinding him. Palmer was open to the attack of his hard-hitting opponent, who punished him as Palmer had never been punished before. He was down for the count of eight in the tenth round but was saved by the gong. He failed to rally afterwards and the light was stopped in the twelfth round.
