OVERLOADED BICYCLE
CITY FIRM PENALISED Tn the Magistrate’s Court, yesterday before Mr. J. 11. Salmon, S.M., the Inspector of Labour proceeded against Maypole, Ltd. (Heads Road branch), for allowing a boy to carry a greater weight than 56 pounds on a bicycle while on delivery work. A penalty of £1 was inflicted, the magistrate remarking that the penalty was a light one because the load was | only a little over the maximum allowed.
