Mr C. A. Danielson was unanimously re-elected president of the Wanganui Metropolitan Rugby Union last night. Mr Geo. Spriggens was re-elected patron of the Wanganui Metropolitan Rugby Union at the annual* meeting last night, an office he has occupied since the union’s inception. Hon. W. Nash, Minister of Finance, who spent ATonday and yesterday morning conferring with the Southland Elec, trie-power Board, left by ueioplane for Wellington at noon, states a Tress Association message from Inveivargill. Air. D. A. Peel, advance officer of the party of English public school boys who are touring Australia and New Zealand, arrived in Wellington by bhe Makura on Monday. The main parly will arrive in Wellington on April 4 and will spend five days in the Dominion.
