TENSIONS QUESTION. ‘ MR. F. N. SMITH »S INQUIRY. ’ T»r T eaa Auoclatiim. } WELLINGTON. March 17. ■ After visiting Australia to deal with questions relating to Imperial soldiers’ pensions. Mr. F. N. Smith. 0.8. E., a senior officer in the British Ministry of Pensions. London, is at present in Wellington. His purpose is not to investigate individual case?, except those in which theie are special difficulties and where the men concerned have used the [facilities at their disposal in this <-oun•try. He states that no changes ,n Hhe wpnsinns policy arc contemplated 1 by the British Ministry, but nevertheless he would be meeting representatives nf the accredited ex-service assornssinns with that body. He expects with the N.Z.R.F.A., and is tn have dis rusisons with that body. He expects to be in New Zealand for five nr six week’ and will return tn England via Canada. During the war Mr. Smith served with the R.A.F.
