MARIST A v. ARAMOHO TWO CENTURIES COMPLETED. In this game two Marist piavers attained their centuries. 11. Cummings scoring 101 not out and J. Hodson took his lOUth. wicket for the season. Marist batted first and scored 190 for rhe loss of one wicket and declared, H. Cumings IUI not out and Jim •(. ameron 67 not out, putting on 163 tor their second wicket partnership. Both batted freely and but for a couple of catches dropped from Cameron (towards the finish}, played chauceless innings. A. Crafar, getting the only wicket, one for 40 out of nine bowlers tried. Arainoho’s first innings totalled 44. b. Crafar 19 and Nicholson 10. being the only batsmen to reach double figures. Hodson, four for IS, and Farrel, six for 23 (including the hat-trick*, bowled very well and shared the wickets. In their second knock Aramoho was even more disappointing as they could only muster 33. Nicholson 12, top scorer with the Crafar Bros. 8 each, were the only three batsmen to break their “ducks.” Hddson being the chief destroying agent with seven wickets for six runs, off six overs. Marist A have now established the substantial lead of 36 in tkchampionship.
