GENERAL NEWS 1 The Rangitik p i Ladies Golf Club’s season will open to-morrow with an 18-holc foursome, the draw taking place at the golf house at 1.15 p.m. Miss Dorothy Sutherland, of Bulls, won the Highland Fling for children under 12 years, at the Caledonian sports held at Takapau last week. Bulls School will be represented at the Rangitikci School’s sports at Marton to-day.
INQUEST. Air. Edmund. Goodbeuere, Fcilding district coroner, open-ed an inquest in Bulls yesterday morning, into the circumstances surrounding the death of Lawrence Sanson, of Sandon, whose body was found on Aloaday in a dam on the property of Air. C. C. Lawrence, deceased’s employer. After hearing evidence of identification by a brother of deceased, the coroner adjourney the inquest sine die. Air. K. G. Salmond, of Feilding, is conducting a post mortem, and will furnish a report to the coroner.
