With the cooperation ot the edu cational autiajrities the Minister of Education hopes to reconstruct the educational policy. He told the Auckland Board th.s morning that there was a big task ahead, not merely concerning rhe administrative functions, but the arrears which had occumulated. It was impossible to deal immediately with al! of the problems of overcrowding or to modernise building and play areas, but it was at least possible to set the goal and see in a reasonable period of years an attempt made to overtake the arrears which had accumulated to such an alarming exient in the depression lyears.
