HIGHER FREIGHT RATES INTER-STATE SERVICES SYDNEY, March HL The Inter-State shipping companies, excepting the Patrick Line, announce ae from to-day that freight rates between Brisbane and Sydney, and Brisbane and Melbourne will be increased by Is and Is 6d a ton respectively, owing to the rise in shipping costs, stores and stevedoring since the depression.
