TRANSFERRED TO FEILDING. AIR. Ai ELSON BALL. Footballers and the public generally I will be interested to learn t'hat it has I been authoritatively ascertained that Air. Nelson Ball of Wellington, the wellkno’Wii All Back footballer, has been . transferred to Feilding. Air. Ball, who is attached to the Government meat grading service, is expected to take up duty at the Feilding freezing works about the ejnd of this month as Government meat inspector, states the Afanawatu Evening Standard. Tt will be remembered that Mr. Ball was one of the first pupils at the Feilding Agricultural High School, where /e early gave indications of the Rugby prowess which was to later carry him into the ranks of the elite of DomLnqn plavers. A member of the Feilding High School Old Pupils’ Association, his return to Feilding will bewelcome-d by his old school-mates and friends, and the hope that he will be seen on the Rugby field in the Alanawatu wilt be a universal one. It goes without saying that if Air. Ball does take up Rugby in the Alanawatu district when he arrives, the Feilding Old Boys jersey will be the colours don.
