BRITAIN, AMERICA, AUSTRALIA, GERMANY ALL MAKING INTENSE PREPARATION Great Britain will need every ounce of strength to withstand the talent which is seeking to life the Davis Cup, premier tennis trophy of the world. Extremely high hopes have been built up in Australia, America and Germany. The aim is to put on the courts players as fit as possible. There is a keen desire to win the cup, and, judging by the efforts being made by way of preparation, the belief is fairly general that Britain is by no means unbeatable.
