The Men's division, Wanganui and East-own Railway are settling down In steady practice in view of the year's activities ahead. The city division has a splendid rero.d for public, duties. For some l v ears past their members have always Lorn on duty, at Rugby football, hockey mao.-hes, athletic sports, road cycling, agricultural shows, wrestling, and variousc house picnics. The Railway Divi--ion also has its members out to soccer I'ontball, wrestling and picnics. The women’s divisions, Central and Honvillc: Nurses also- a-e settling down to steady practice. Both these divisions do splendid work in public. Their work is mostly confined to ladies’ hockey, agricultural shows and local picnics. The boys’ and girls* cadet division arc the nucleus for the senior divisions. Cadet practice is held once a week aiW there vacancies for boys and girls who wish to take up this work. There are also vacancies in the men’s and women’s divisions for those who wish to take up this wonderful work The St. John Ambulance Brigade has two main aims. First, the relief of -•uffering by understanding first aid, and the training of their members to
