PROCEEDS OF TWO SALES TOTAL OF OVER £760,000. YESTERDAY WAS PROMPT DAY. Although official figures were not ivaila i j yesterday, prompt date in respect tu the Wanganui wool sale held in February 24, it is certain that the U'oss proceeds will bring the season's realisations so far to over £760,0UU. It is estimated with fair accuracy that the average price per bale at the February side was between £l2 16s and £l2 JBs. Assuming that 29,000 bales were sold at the lower figure the sale wotdd produce £371,200 in gross proceedk It is fairly certain, however, that a greater numlrar of bales was disposed of and the average was higher than £l2 16s per*bale.
