FULL AMOUNT CLAIMED INJURIES through FALLING BOTTLES OF BEER [ Per Press Association. 1 CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 21. General damages amounting to £509, ’.he full amount claimed, were awarded to Joseph Edward Fussell aga-nst the Ashburton Club and Mutual Society of Arts in the Supreme Court, to-day. Fussell was also awarded £147 7s 6d special d-amagCjS, which amount had been agreed upon by counsel. the damages were claimed in respect of injuries received when a number of bottles of beer fell on Fussell on the club premises in November, 1934.
