Aliss J. Higgie is a Wanganui visitor to Wellington. Airs. A. C. Hogg is visiting Hawera, and is the guest of Airs. Ancel Gray. Airs. Pattenden and Aliss Clarice Pattenden, of Dunedin, are the guests of Aliss Nelson, Hipango Terrace. Mr. and Airs. E. Holst have returned to Gonville after a holiday spent at Rotorua. Mrs. R. G, Mackay has left by the Wanganella for Sydney, eu route to Perth, Western Australia. Mrs. A. Anderson, Long Acre, and Mrs. J. McGrail, Okoia, are at present spending a holiday in New Plymouth, and are staying at Braemare Guest House. Sist/r Janet Doull, who has been in Napier for some months, has returned to her offices in Cooke’s Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland. Lady Victoria Braithwaite, well known in New Zealand as the wife of the late Lord Plunket, a former Governor, arrives in. Auckland to-day by the Alariposa. On. their way to New Zealand, where they will be the guests of the Gover-nor-General (Lord Galway) and Lady Galway, at Government House, Wellington, the Hon. Airs. E. White and Miss Margaret White, of England, were among the passengers in the Orontes, which reached Alelbourne last week. Lady Galway is a niece of Airs. White.
