EVENING SPORTS a splendid programme has been drawn up for tut sports meeting to be held on the Domain on Monday evening. Cycle events will comprise a hall mile and tv\o miles open races; a halfmile for and a half-mile for married men. Runners will be provided for with open events of 10<' yards, 220 yards, and 880 yards, and a ladies’ race, 75 yards. The first race will be run at 6.15 p.m., and adiiiLision charges are nominal. SCHOOL COMMITTEE The monthly meeting of the BulbSchool Committee was held on Tuesday evening. Mr. S. Rich presided, and there were also present Messrs. F. F. Ralfe, H. Holland, VV. Dean, L. V. Holmes. D. M. O’Connel and \\. A. Churchill (headmaster). Mr. Churchill’s report ehowed that there had been 21 admissions. chiefly of five-year-olds at the beginning of the term, and the roll number now stands at 114. In view of the increase in numbers, Miss Z. Ralfe had been appointed relieving additional tea* her. Dr. Gunn had spent a day and a halt at the school during the first week, when al* the pupils were medically examined. Combined Picnic. —Delegates (Messrs. O. Reid, L. Sanson, and V». Miss Larmer was the only daughter of ex-Constable .1. Larmer. who was eta tinned at Bulls for several years. Sue was about 21 years of age, and general Bggrct is felt at her early parsing.
