One New Zealand record was lowered at the intermediate and junior swimming championships of Auckland, held in the tepid baths to-night, the successful competitor being the winner of the 50 yards juaicT girls’ title, M. Black. Her time was 29 3-Bsec., a reduction of one-fifth of a second upon her own record, which was established at Auckland nearly two years ago.
