Infuriated by an adverse ruling from the Bench, John Keogh, a veteran practising attorney, calmly drew a revolver in the Court to-day and killed a rival attorney, Christopher Kinney. Keogh then fired three Linos at the presiding Judge, narrowly missing him. At the hurst of .'unlire the Courtroom was thrown into the wildest confusion. Spectators and attendants dropped to the floor, while the Judge dropped behind the- Bench and crawled on his hands and knees to the safety of his chambers. When arrested Keogh said that he was not sorry for the action. He hoped it would create enough publicity to prove his poind, which involved real estate mortgage litigation. “I did it as a soldier not, as a murderer,” he said.
