(Burgess and Co.). HOLMDALE DELAYED The s.s. Holmdale was delayed by heavy rain at Dunedin on Monday. She left there yesterday for Oamaru and Timaru. where she is to loil to-day. The vessel ifi now scheduled to call at Lyttelton to-morrow and Wellington 2nd Ficton on Friday. She is due here on Saturday and will return to Jiellinginn ei.a southern ports after discharge. (Holm and Co.). GALE ALSO DELAYED The Canterbury Company’s 600-ton motorchin Gale was also delayed by rain at Dunedin on Monday. The coaster is now listed to continue her Wanganui loading at Oamaru and Timaru to-day, Lyttelton to-morrow and at Wellington and Picton on Friday. STORM RESUMING TO-DAY After being in dock at Lyttelton for overhaul and survey. Ju Canterbury Company's 749-ton coastal steamer Storm resumes in the Dunedin-Wellington-Wanganui service to-day, when she will commence loading at Dunedin. The steamer will call at Oamaru and Fimaru to-morrow, Lyttelton un Friday and Wellington on Saturday. She is due here on Sunday and will discharge the following day. (Millward and Co.). BREEZE BLUFF TG-MORROW From Wanganui and Wellington, the coastal motor-ship Breeze ifi expected at Bluff to-morrow. FROM WEST COAST PORTS RATA EXPECTED TO-MORROW Fmm West Coast ports, via New Plymouth. the Anchor Company’s t.s.s. Rata • '-•74 tons • is expected at Wanganui to-mor-row morning. She has 260 tons of coal from Westport and Greymouth for local discharge and will sail later for Westpcrt direct. (Cock and Co.). SHEEP FROM THE SOUNDS THE ALEXANDER COMING The Anchor Company’« 377-ton motor-sh'p Alexander is expected at Wanganui to-day or to-morrow with sheep from Pohoenui (Pelorus Sounds). On completion of discharge she will sail for Picton. (Cock and Co.). H.M.S. LEITH. VISIT TO WANGANUI. The Imperial sloop Leith leaves Auckland on January 30 on a coastal cruise of New Zealand ports. She will call at Hokianga, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Queen Charlotte Sound, Lyttelton, Akaroa, Chatham Islands and Wellington. The vessel is expected here on February 13 and will remain in port until February 20. OVERSEAS VESSELS. (To Berth at Gastiecliff.) GABRIELLA LOADING The Union Company’s s.s. THE HUNTINGDON The Federal freighter Huntingdon (10.951 torn;. Captain Field) was to have clearedNew Plymouth yesterday for Auckland. Wellington and Wanganui. The steamer is expected in the Wanganui roadstead on January 24 and is to sail on February 4 for London. Avonmouth, Cardiff, Liverpool and Glasgow. THE TAIROA The Shaw. Savill and Albion steamer Tairoa is due in the Wanganui roadstead on January 29 and sails on February 1 for Auckland. from which port she will sail finally on February 5 for London, via Panama Canal and Kingston, Jamaica. The vessel will discharge cargo for Wanganui and will take consignments for New York (transhipments for the United Kingdom and Continent). She also loads for Boston and Montreal. (Millward and Co.). WANGANUI FINAL PORT Wanganui will be the final port of call for the Commonwealth and Dominion Line’s s.s. Port Denison. She is ddfe at Opua on- January 19 from Australia and will later call at Auckland. Gisborne, Picton, Wellington and Wanganui. The freighter is due in the Wanganui roadstead on February 5 and will sail for London, via Cape Horn, on February 8. (Smith, Beauchamp and Co.). FROM THE SHIP’S LOG. LACKLAN LEAVES PALEMBANG The Vacuum Oil tanker Lacklan is reported to have left Palembang on December 22 for Auckland and Wellington. REMUERA WELLINGTON SUNDAY The New Zealand Shipping Company have received a radio message from the Remuera, stating that she expects to reach Wellington at daybreak on Sunday. The liner left London on December 12. Besides passengers, she brings cargo for discharge at Wellington and Auckland. lONIC AT AUCKLAND The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner lonic arrived at Auckland from London early on Sunday morning. The ship had an exceptionally long voyage of 42 days. Bad weather was experienced the first week after leaving Great Britain, but from Panama the vessel made fair progress.
