PLANS TO RAISE STANDARD NEW INSTITUTE FORMED. WIDE REPRESENTATION. [ British Official WiroleM. ] Received Jan. 13, 6.57 p.m. RUGBY, Jan. 12. The Institute of Export was inaugurated yesterday by a number of promin ent leaders in the business world. It is a new organisation which will work for the development of British export trade by raising the general standard of export by a practice of providing specialist training, promulgating rules of professional conduct and providing information and research. The founders represent all the inter ests concerned—manufacturers, merchants, shipping and. insurance companies and bankers. The vice-pre-sidents include Lord Melchett, Lord Hirst, Sir Harry MacGowan, Sir George Beharrell, Sir George Macdonagh, Lord Wakefield, Sir Malcolm Robertson and Sir Francis Goodenough.
