MOTOR-CYCLIST’S DEATH
ACCIDENT ON HEADS ROAD VERDICT AT INQUEST That the deceased died in the Wit> ganui Public Hospital on December 19, last, as the result of an accident m Heads Road on December 16, the (am-e of death being laceration cf the brain due to head injuries, was the verdict of the coroner, Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., at the inquest held at Wanganui yesterday to enquire into the circumstances surrounding the death of Michael Joseph AlcConville, aged 52 years. The coroner added that no blame was attachable to any person. The evidence disclosed that the deceased, who was an engineer employed by the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric power Board, was riding a motor-cycle along Ucadr Road on tho night of December 16, when he came into contact with a. pedestrian. The motor-cycle was travelling slowly at the time, but the deceased was thrown on his head. The other person involved in the accident was not seriously injured.
