RAILWAY SHUNTER INJURED
TBUCK PASSES OVER LEG [ Per Presß Aaaociat.on. ) CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 13. Slipping on pait of a vattie stop made greasy by a, mis-ty rain. Patrick O’Callaghan, a railway employee at lhe Springfield railway station, fell in front of a nunvber of trucks which was being shunted in the yard this evening and the wheels of one truck passed over one of his legs just below the knee and practically severed it. O’Callaghan had been riding on one of the tiucks while shunting and slipped off on 10 a board alongside the cattle stop. He failed to gain a foothold and fell, one leg crossing the track. O’Callaghan, after receiving medical attention on the spot, was brought to the Chri.mt•church Hospital. _
