Messrs. C. Gotenshaw and T. Hoskin, of Auckland, were visitors to Wanganui yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Slipper, of Auckland, who havex been visiting Wanganui, left yesterday for Waverley, where they will be the guests of Mr. Elmslie, of “Hillside.” They are returning to Auckland at the end of the week, via Napier and Gisborne. Mr. A. Noble Campbell, Wanganui Lawn Tennis Association professional player and coach, is an inmate ..of Belverdale private hospital suffering from nervous strain. He is progressing favourably and has been ordered a fortnight’s rest.
