VANCOUVER STRIKE
CALLED OFF BY UNION LONGSHOREMEN’S JOBS GONE. VANCOUVER, Dec. 2. The Seafarers’ Union at a meeting on Sunday voted to call off the Vancouver waterfront strike as far as they were concerned. The longshoremen are asking the Shipping Federation for negotiations to end the strike. Their places have all been filled.
