LAST MEETING TO-DAY i DEFEATED GOVERNMENT i STATEMENT ON NATIONAL FINANCE L Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, Dec. 2. ’rhe final meeting of the Executive Council as far as tae National Government is concerned, will be held at Parliament House to-morrow morning with the Governor-General, Lord Galway, presiding. It was explained by the Prime .Minister, Hon. G. \V. Forbes, today, that the. purpose of the meeting was to deal with some formal matters relating to different departments. It is expected that the Minister of Finance, Hon. J. G. Coates, will issue a statement on national finance before the Government goes out of office. It may be ready for circulation tp-morrow night, but in all probability it will be issued on \\ ednesday morning.
