ABDUCTION ALLEGED
YOUNG MAN BEFORE COURT. REMAND TO OHAKUNE. Charges before Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday with abducting Mary Emma Shiel at Ohakune on or about November 22, Victor Price, labourer and blacksmith, aged 25 years, was remanded to appear at Ohakune on December 6. Price was also charged with forging an endorsement to a cheque at Danncvirke on November 29. On this charge he was also remanded to Ohakune.
