WELLINGTON MARKET PRICES. Sheepskins were very firm at the sale held on Friday by the Wellington brokers, but hides were easier. The sheepskins offered were an attractive catalogue; competition generally being very keen, especially lor haifbreds and line crossbreds. As compared with late quotations, values were fully firm with the exception of shabby, damaged and inferior parcels, which were easier. A line of halibreds made 1 lid, and other parcels sold from <»ld to K)|d. baited skins were in better demand at slightly improved prices. Hides: There was again a good offering of abattoirs, butchers and country descriptions. Exporters and tanners took, the bulk of the offering at reduced values.
