NAMES SUPPRESSED
OFFENDERS AT WELLINGTON [ Per Press Association. } WELLINGTON, Nov. 29. The names of four persons who ap peared yesterday before Air. E. D. Mos ley. S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court a Wellington, were suppressed. Two firs offenders were charged with theft ant the others were remanded by fin magistrate for sentence. A married woman, aged 18 years, wai charged with the theft of a diamom ring valued at £3O and was admitted t< probation for two years. A farm labourer, aged 19 years [Headed guilty to obtaining a rifle an< cash from a gunsmith by falsely rep resenting that a cheque, which he hat made out and signed with anothe: name, was valid, was given probatioi for a year. The name were also sup pressed of two men who were re manded for sentence on charges con j netted with theft.
