APPEAL FOR HOME OF COMPASSION
Sir, —Once more I am asking thi public of Wanganui and district t< help make Christmas bright and cheery for the inmates of the Home of Com passion. Each year people have beei most generous and kind. Please hel[ us this year as before. I again ask tin young men who so kindly sent us theii shilling donations last year, to do tht same this year. Many sent posta notes through the post. Quite a num ber of people sent eggs, butter anc vegetables, etc. These are most accept able. I had a donation from Taihape The listers are most grateful for al. that has been done.
