November 29, 4 X J,nu General Situation.—An anti-cyclone continues to cover the northern Tasman and North Island, while a series of slight westerly depressions is.crossing the South Tasman and .southern New Zealand. Forecast. —Winds: Moderate to strong westerly. Seas (New Zea land waters): Slight to moderate but rather rough at times in the Cook and Foveaux Straits azeas. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate westerly winds and moderate seas. Weather:.Fair in eastern districts with mild temperatures, but rather changeable with occasional scattered showers in districts with a westerly aspect. The New Zealand Friends’ School, St. John’s Hill, report' for 24 hours ending 6 p.m. yesterday: Bright sunshine, 7 hours 20 minutes. Rainfall, nil. Shade temperature: Maximum,‘6B deg.
