WRESTLING
BOUT FOR WANGANUI CESTOLDI TO MEET KING ELLIOT SPECTACULAR BOUT PROMISED The Wanganui Wrestling Association announce that their next professional contest will take place at the Opera House on Wednesday of next week. This will be a special match between Angelo Cestoldi (Italy), who will be making his first appearance locally, and King Elliot, who is well known throughout the country for his clever and spectacular wrestling. This will be King Elliot final appearance in New Zealand this season for he leaves for America on December 10. Both clever and attractive wrestlers. Cestoldi and Elliot should be capable of providing a fast and entertaining bout. Cestoldi has shown himself a strong and aggressive matman and, although somewhat unorthodox in his methods, he has proved that he is capable of extending the best exponents in the Dominion. Especially clever with his flying tackles, Elliot has created a fine impression in most of his matches and Cestoldi will need to be at his best if he wishes to dispose of the New Zealander. So sure is Elliot of victory that he is willing to wager that the Italian cannot beat him. There will be the usual number of amateur contests prior to the big match, and a fine evening’s entertainment is assured.
