HIS SECOND ESCAPE
PRISONER RECAPTURED [ Per Press Association. ] AUCKLAND, Nov. 28. A prisoner who escaped from the Hautu prison camp in the Tokaanu district last week-end was reported to have been recaptured after an intensive search had been made for him. He is Herbert Horace Hanlee, aged 40, a garage hand, who was serving a sentence of two years’ imprisonment on charges of fraud and theft, and also for escaping from custody in 1930. The second escape was made last Saturday night. It was found that Hanlee had | secured his liberty by cutting away a ■ bolt from wood-work in the doorway of the building in which he had been confined for the night.
