GARDEN PARTY
ST. MARY’S CONVENT A garden party will be hold in the beautiful grounds of St. Mary’s Convent, Grey Street, to-morrow, Saturday. A diversified programme to suit all lastes has been arranged and will include baby competitions (two classes), drills marches and side-shows. There will be several well-stocked stalls, including produce, cakes, sweets, icecream, etc. The Garrison Band will be in attendance. Keep Saturday free for this big event. The grounds and stalls will lie open from 10 o’clock in the morning. The programme is as follows: 2.30 p.m.: St. Mary’s Convent pupils, grand march. 3 p.m.: Sacred Heart Convent pupils in Egyptian balance movements, quick set movements, and Indian clubswinging. 3.30 p.m.: Marist Brothers’ School pupils, marching and physical drill exercises.
