PERSONAL Mr. A. Jacobs, Wellington, spent the week-end in Mangaweka. Mrs. E. W. Burgin is spending a holiday at Napier. Mrs. Church is visiting Mrs. J. Phillips. DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB The second shoot of the Nash Cup series was fired over 300 and 500yds. during the week-end. Although the conditions were not the best for high scoring, several very creditable scores were put on during the afternoon, the best being that of Rifleman A. T. Dickinson who registered the first ‘‘possible” of the season. Following are the individual scores: —A. T. Dickinson 32—35—67; H. J. Nash 32—33 65; F. P. Dickinson 32—33 —65; L. G. Alahoney 32 —33—65; M. Green 32 33 65: B. A. Bailey 30—33—63; W. A. Hamilton 30—33 —63; A. N. Zohs 32—28—60; E. Salt 30—29—59; J. Persson 26—25 —51.
