Royal Commission The Royal Commission on Rating and Gaming, which was appointed by the Queensland Government some months ago, and which comprises Messrs T. A. Ferry (chairman), C. J. Carroll, and J. F. McCarthy, spent two days recently in Sydney hearing evidence from leading men in racing activities. The members of the Commission left for Melbourne, and evidence will be taken in Victoria.
