Attention is drawn to Communist plans for securing control of India by Lord Willingdon, Viceroy, in a dispatch to Lord Zetland. He says the avowed aim of Communism in India is to create an armed revolution as quickly as possible. The dangers of the movement axe not generally app~eciated in India owing to the underground methods of working, but the Government of India has ample evidence of the determination with which activities are being pursued. “I am satisfied that it forms a very real though not immediate menace to the country’s peace.’»
