SCARLATINA CASE
OUTBREAK ON NIAGARA MEMBERS OF CREW INJURED [ Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 27. A member of the crew was suffering from a mild from of scarlatina when the Niagara arrived from Vancouver to night and the vessel anchored in the stream until pratique was granted by the |»ort health officer. The patient contracted the illness about a week ago and will be brought ashore. A member of the crew who was suffering from appendicitis and another, who injured his eyes while opening a tin of caustic soda, were taken ashore and left at Suva.
