’PLANE IN INDIAN JUNGLE CHINESE MINER'S REPORT ' iB/ Telegraph—Preaa Aasociation—Copyrirhfl CALCUTTA, Nov. 26. There is no further news of the airmen, believed to be Smith and Pethybridge, in the jungle near Kaikpu. It is understood the information was brought by a Chinese miner who made a statement to a magistrate. The European manager of a dredger, who previously reported seeing a ’plane near Takuapa, has been asked to make a search. AUSTRALIAN SUGGESTION THE POLISH AVIATORS. SYDNEY, Nov. 26. The suggestion is advanced that the 'plane which was reported to have crashed south of Victoria Point is that of the Polish airmen Karpinski and Rogalski, whose flight to Australia was recently abandoned.
