WANGANUI’S NEW MEMBER
MR. J. B. COTTERILL Wanganui’s new representative i» a young man who has won his way forward by determination. He was employed in the Eastown Railway Workshops and left that position to contest the campaign just concluded, thereby complying with the law of the land that a Government servant must first resign his position before entering the political arena. Mrl Cotterill is 29 years of age. He was born in Wanganui and educated at Queen’s Park School. His father, Mr Joseph Cotterill, is one of the district’s early settlers. Since leaving school the new member made a study of history, economics and psychology. At present ho holds the position of president of Wanganui branch of the Labour Tarty
