bright display at bulls [ From Our Own Correspondent, j The annual flower show, under the auspices of St. Andrew’s and Martin> Churches, was held in Bulls Town Hall on Monday afternoon, and attracted a large attendance. Entries were well up to the average, and the display of roses was very line. Miss N. Wilson exhibited the champion bloom, 44Margaret Dickson Hamel,” and points prizes were awarded as fpllow;— Roses (amateur): Miss Petrie. Roses (special): R. Mansell. Collection of outdoor flowers: Mrs. Howard, fsweet peas: Mr. Cole. Cut flowers: Mrs. Hadfield. Decorative: Mrs. L. G. M. Taverner. Vegetables: Flock House. Domestic: Mrs. Hmith. Children’s (decorative; Section: Joan White. Competitions were woo as follows: Ham and turkey, Mr. Fred Ellis. Cake, Mrs. D. W. Wilson. Rhododendrons, Mrs. Simson. In the evening an entertainment again drew a good crowd, a feature be ing a playette staged by members of the Bulls Women’s Institute. The net proceeds wilt exceed last year’s by about £6, and the show was a distinct success, thanks to the hard work of Mis» O.
