The rector of Haccombe. Devon, one of the smallest parishes in England, is ah-pr’est,’’ and can claim the right of wearing lawn sleeves and and sitting next to a bishop. He also claims freedom from all ecclesiastical jurisdiction, excepting lire visitation of the Archbishop of Canterbury.
