STRUCK BY A TREE
A WORKER KILLED [ Per Press Association. I TAUMARUNUI, Nov. 25. A fatal accident occurred at Retaruke, Air. J. Aloran, aged 68, a surfaceman employed by the Kaitieke County Council, was watching a tree being' felled. It fell in the wrong direction, striking him before he could get out of the way. Mr. Moran died before the arrival of the doctor. Deceased served in the Matabele "War, r'-yf War ar 1 Gr A nt T ’’ A r.
