LABOUR’S FAILURE
LACK OF LEADERSHIP “ALL HAVE LOT TO LEARN” LONDON, Nov. 24. Mr. Herbert Morrison, in an article reviewing the election, in the Socialist newspaper Forward says: “We ought to have done better. Look at the certainties we have failed to win. It is the fault of nobody in particular, but since 1931 we have not evolved a clear leadership. Our so-called Left has placed some bloomers on record in brave speeches and writings. The country is not hurriedly going to vote for a first-class financial crisis.” “All of us have a lot to learn about the psychology of the electorate nationally.”
