A PEEPING TOM
SENTENCED TO THREE MONTHS. [ Per Press Association. J WELLINGTON, Nov. 25. An unsuccessful request for probation was made by Bernard Victor Cottier, 41, labourer, who was described by the police as a peeping Toni, when he appeared at the Magistrate’s Court today, charged with being found on enclosed premises without lawful excuse. Cottier pleaded guilty, saying his trouble was due to a bad breakdown in health. Mr. Stillwell. 8.M.. pointed out that Cottier’s list for such offences dated back to 1929, and he imposed a sentence of three months’ imprisonment.
